Kay is the lead staff accompanist at First Baptist Church. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters in Secondary Education, both from the University of Louisville. She is currently working toward Certification in Administration from Goucher.
For twenty-seven years, Kay has taught General and Vocal Music in the public schools of Louisville, KY, southern Indiana, and Prince Georges County, Maryland. In those years she has also served on several church staffs as organist and pianist.
